A quilt for a friend

This is my neighbor and friend, Alice, who is completing her 3rd quilt. This quilt is for her friend who soon will retire. Alice has sewn all the blocks by hand, and is now going to quilt it by hand. She has done a wonderful job with the quilt, and I got to see it in the making. How exciting!
